The right time for life insurance? The time is NOW ... Right Now!

When you are a teenager, you don’t spend a lot of time worrying about retirement or death. It won’t happen forever it seems, at least on paper to young people.

Even people in their 50s and 60s might blow off the need for life insurance. Perhaps you have your finances in order and don’t think it is necessary. However, one day the time will come when we no longer have our health and might not be able to make important financial decisions.

Why not put long-term plans in place today? Why not now? How about right now?

Now is the best time to shore up your long-term plan before you are sick, die unexpectedly, etc. We all need a long-term plan while we have our health and are of sound mind.

If you take care of this now, then you don’t have to worry about it later. You also don’t leave it up to your loved ones to sort out after you pass away. By putting your affairs in place now, you lessen the stress of your passing on your family. You also let them know how much you loved them by showing them one more time that you were thinking of them before you died.

People don’t like to think this way, but the longer that we live the closer we are to death. The older we get, the more likely we are to be susceptible to sickness or illness. It’s a fact of life. We are all going to die, so why would we want to burden our family by not planning for it now rather than when it is too late.

The next time you meet with a client, make sure to talk to them about long-term planning when it comes to the coverage they are considering. Life is stressful enough when things are going your way. Don’t get blindsided by not planning for retirement and your senior years now.

NOW is the time to put a plan in place. It’s the smart thing to do and it is the right thing to do for your family. Don’t wait until later. Do it now. Do it right now.
